Willy's Cat Castle

Willy's Cat Castle Click on photo for Annotations
When I built the Cat Castle for Willy, I had to strive for a certain style. You see, before living with Kathy and Mike, he lived with the Prime Minister. Not for long, but Kathy spent a good half hour chatting with Mrs. Harper before leaving with Willy. I suspect Mrs. Harper needed that long to be convinced that Kathy would be a good human companion for the kitten. And no, I'm not making this up. [Description of event where Kathy met Willy]

Ingredients:

  • a discarded speaker cabinet,
  • excess carpet scraps,
  • sisal rope,
  • a stick,
  • cord from a discarded window blind, and
  • a stuffed bunny rabbit given away at the Great Glebe Garage Sale.

I was hoping you could explain something to me: why is it that two items in your poll (see Jan 2 posting) each captured 24% of the vote, yet you still chose to post about this topic, which received only 6% of the vote?

Was this a rhetorical poll? Were you trying merely to give the impression that you care about your readers?

Hmmmmm.

Well, Happy New Year anyway.

Grumpy Guy, of course I care about what people want! But if I'd been ready to do any of those things when I put the poll up, I would have just done them.

The kitty structure was an easy posting because I only had to wait for Marcie to email me the photos.

Have I acknowledged your role in the cat structures? You inspired me with the cute little carpeted shelves in your apartment.

If I knew which specific thing you voted for, that would be high on the list.

Aww, David did good grumpyguy. Sounding out interest isn't the same as signing off free choice.

Did you staple the sisal on? How do you get it secure enough?

I knotted the rope and wrapped duct tape around the knot. Oops. I forgot that in the ingredients list.
