Another way to not get coffee
I thought that many years ago I had discovered (by "denial and error" as Ricky from the Trailer Park Boys would say) all the ways of not getting coffee from my automatic drip coffee maker:
- Not filling the carafe with water from the faucet;
- Filling the carafe with water from the faucet, but not pouring that water into the reservoir of the coffee maker;
- Putting water in the reservoir, but not putting coffee in the filter basket;
- Putting water in the reservoir and coffee in the filter basket, but forgetting to turn on the coffee maker; and
- Putting water in the reservoir and coffee in the filter basket, turning on the coffee maker, but not plugging in the coffee maker.
I thought that was it, a 5-item list, but yesterday morning, while perhaps more groggy than usual, I discovered a sixth method of not getting coffee:
- Putting water in the reservoir and coffee in the filter basket, turning on the plugged-in coffee maker, but pouring into an upside-down mug.

It's a sure shot way to wake up and stop feeling groggy, atleast!
yes, that's why this morning I went back to method #4.
Are you saying that after number 6 you went ahead with number 4 as well?
Yes, but on different days. Thursday - #6; Sunday - #4. Lately, #4 is my most common method of not getting coffee.
I sware, I saw your list on the GMAT I wrote a few years back.
