Scrimshaw is hip!

One of my brother Paul's co-workers put a copy of this cartoon on his desk this morning.

This David Coverly is onto something. "Permanent" really means forever in Hell.

[Just in case you didn't know, "scrimshaw" is intricate carving on bone or ivory. Last week, I saw a scrimshaw whale tooth on Antiques Road Show that the appraiser valued at $125,000.]
