Must See Concert: Maple Leaf Brass Band on Saturday June 2nd

If you go to only one Maple Leaf Brass Band concert this year,^[Note] this is the one to go to.

On Saturday, June 2nd, we will be joined by two awesome brass musicians:

• Nick Hudson, one of Europe's finest trombonists, and
• Karen Donnelly, the National Arts Centre Orchestra's Principal Trumpet

The Maple Leaf Brass Band will accompany them on solo pieces and will play a wide range of pieces for brass band including jazz, swing, marches; and the world premiere of the brass Lloyd Hiscock's arrangement of the Wells of Marah by J.M. Gayfer.

This concert will also feature the second tenor horn department doing what it does best - laying an unobtrusive frame of support that lets others soar.
