Cheap Gifts for a Nerd

If you are a woman who reads this blog, you probably hang onto things like panty hose with a run because you know they have other uses.

Has it occurred to you that your single male friends, especially the nerdy ones who like to make stuff, might know of even more uses, but lack the resources to acquire old pantyhose and other feminine items?

You would be doing a wonderful deed if you shared your bounty with a nerd.

Here are a few feminine items I can think of that a nerd could use (Click to see how):

If you want to make your gift really special, put a collection in one of those cool free cosmetics suitcases.

p.s. You'll notice that the pop filter illustrated here uses an embroidery hoop. I thought about including items like that on my list, but (a) who gets rid of embroidery hoops? and (b) I wouldn't suggest that embroidery is only for women.

So, are you officially "coming out" as a nerd?

Do you really want my old hose? We use them here to tie up tall plants, strain certain liquids and other handyman stuff. Now... another use!!!

I must confess I continue to be amazed at your creativity.

Where have you been, Mom? I've been an out nerd since 1979.

I don't use any of this stuff, but do you have any use for used emery boards?

Had to mention that Greg has WAY more nail polish than I do... but I doubt he wants to part with any of it.

I clicked on the nailpolish link but got a page with a WHOLE BUNCHA stuff. I'm still curious, though: what does one doe with nailpolish> Other than stop runs in pantyhose?
