I made a movie about a squirrel
This squirrel was eating mountain ash berries last Saturday. I think this means the squirrel was very, very hungry.
Because mountain ash berries do not taste good.

Poor little guy. I have some extra bird food kicking around. I'd be happy to drop it off.
Thank you, Zoom, but you should probably hang onto that food for your own flock.
The feeding of squirrels and other wildlife is actually a controversial topic here.
They do taste bad. But around this time of year, they're partly fermented and partly frozen.
I think they might be the squirrel/finch/etc equivalent of icewine. . .
Perhaps more like icebitters.
I tried one this morning and it was still a long way from tasty.
