A few weekends ago I was in my parents' basement checking out something my dad was building when I noticed a cool old suitcase that I'd never seen before.
Me: Hey, I like this old suitcase!
Dad: Yeah, my accordian's in there.
(pause)
Me: That was not the way I expected this conversation to go.

I love that story because:
a) I love old suitcases
b) I love finding old musical instruments (in fact I even have recurring dreams where that's a theme)
c) You didn't know your dad played accordion? It's a family secret!
