Unfortunately women don't enjoy the same range of muppet role models.... if i were a muppet, i would be.... Miss Piggy? Janice? Prairie Dawn?
Jennifer, how could that be anything but a compliment of the highest order?
As for female muppet role models, I cannot add many names to your list. And the ones I come up with like Oscar's girlfriend Grundgetta and Gladys the Cow don't offer much additional range.
I had forgotten Gladys, but the following info in your linked article, "She loves to sing, and occasionally wears a wig" tells me I have found my muppet role model! (despite the article's earlier assertion that she is a "vain bovine")
