Phone Poles, Staples and Cheza

Because I like Phone Poles so much, Kaye sent me some excellent photos she took on Canada Day. Here is one I particularly like.

I've heard that the linemen don't like all the staples in the poles because they can't get the spikes on their boots to go through them. Perhaps they chould replace the spikes with strong magnets.

Am I a latecomer to phone pole love? I discovered just tonight, when Paul Weber friended me on Facebook, that there is a 1994 video on Youtube that proves I've been into posters on phone poles for a long time.
