Somebody's Room

At some time in the past, I found an undeveloped roll of film. I don't remember where I found it and I don't remember when. It might have been in Ottawa. But maybe not. I might have found it last year, but it could have been 5 or 6 years ago.

From time to time, I would think, I must get that developed. Perhaps it's the only photo someone took of some special occasion. But I never got around to it.

Then one day, I learned that Keir was going to a store where they develop film and he was kind enough to take it in for me.

Now, all this time later, the film has been developed. There was only one photo on the roll. It does not appear to be from a special occasion, but it might be a fond memory for someone.

Are there clues in the bookshelf? Book titles? Or perhaps the calendar, you could use the date/day combo to reduce the year possibilities. And your friend is a scotch drinker, I think.

I think the calendar might be a May that started on a Wednesday.

And judging by the martini shaker and other bottles, I think the occupant of the room might have broader tastes than just scotch.

One of the books had the word "healing" in the title.

That's not a lot to go on. Also, I guess every seventh May would begin on a Wednesday (not sure how to account for leap year in that calculation), so even that doesn't narrow it down given that we've all lived through more than a few sets of 7 years. The word healing, though... that coupled with the martinis might be the in-road.
